The average number of persons (including directors) employed by the company during the year was 2 (2023 - 2).

At the year end, there were three charges outstanding on the company, with two being a fixed and floating containing a negative pledge, and a fixed and floating charge over all the property or undertaking of the company with a negative pledge.

At the balance sheet date the company had net liabilities. The directors have confirmed that they have the ability to and will continue to support the company financially. On this basis the directors have continued to prepare the financial statements on a going concern basis.

Included within creditors: amounts falling due within one year is an amount owed of £63,977 (2023: £63,977) to Real Estate Bonding, a company in which the director is also a director of. This was to provide additional funding for the development invested in by the parent company Hortisolis Limited.

Included within creditors: amounts falling due within one year is an amount owed of £190,649 (2023: £190,756) to the Hortisolis Pension Scheme. This was to provide additional funding for the development invested in by the parent company Hortisolis Limited.

Hortisolis City Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is c/o Craufurd Hale Group, Ground Floor, Arena Court, Crown Lane, MAIDENHEAD, SL6 8QZ.

For the year ended 31 March 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The director acknowledges his responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and in accordance with FRS 105 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable to the Micro-entities Regime' and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
