HWB CEMAES CIC

Company Number: 12754560 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 July 2024

Company activities and impact

During this financial year, Hwb Cemaes CIC has continued to provide accessible, inclusive, and affordable wellbeing, creative, and community-focused activities for local residents. Our programmes have supported individuals and families experiencing isolation, poor mental health, and financial hardship by offering safe spaces to connect, learn, and participate in positive experiences. We have delivered regular workshops, events, and drop-in sessions designed to bring people together, build resilience, and improve wellbeing. The CIC has also worked in partnership with local organisations, schools, and voluntary groups to extend the reach of our services and ensure that those most affected by social and economic challenges are included. As a result, the company has reduced social isolation, strengthened community connections, and provided opportunities for personal development and improved mental health across Cemaes and the wider Anglesey area.

Consultation with stakeholders

Yes. Hwb Cemaes CIC regularly consults with its stakeholders, who include local residents, community groups, partner organisations, volunteers, and service users. Consultation takes place through a variety of channels, including open community meetings, feedback forms at events and workshops, informal conversations, and online surveys. We also provide regular opportunities for community members to share their views directly with staff and directors, ensuring that the voices of those most affected by our work are central to decision-making. In response to feedback, we have adapted the timing and content of our sessions to make them more accessible, introduced new activities requested by participants, and worked to keep costs low so that financial barriers do not prevent access. This ongoing consultation process ensures that our services remain relevant, inclusive, and responsive to community needs.
