Service charge accounts
The company has no income or expenditure in its own right from which it derives economic benefit. All transactions in the year relate to the maintenance of the common parts in accordance with the lease.
Whilst certain contracts are entered into in the name of the company the execution of these contracts and settlement of the liabilities arising are made through the service charge account. Income and expenditure arising from these transactions is shown in separate service charge accounts for Castle Quay Mews that do not form
part of the annual accounts of the company and are not filed at Companies House.
All service charge monies received from the residents of Castle Quay Mews are held on trust for the residents, the entries on the company balance sheet represent those balances held on trust.

For the year ending 30 September 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.
The member has not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.
The director acknowledges her responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the micro-entity provisions and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.
