The principal activities of the company are to provide health and wellbeing services, and other activities for the benefit of LGBTQ people, our straight allies living in and/or working in Hertfordshire, and local businesses. During the year ending 31 December 2024 the company did not receive any income and did not make any expenditure. However, the CIC supported community activity through voluntary contribution of director time and expertise: In August 2024, the CIC supported Hertfordshire Pride Society in the organisation of Herts Pride 2024 (support in kind only, not financial). The CIC also formally held the event licence in its name, while the Society remained responsible for all financial aspects, contracts, invoices, and sponsorship. In December 2024, the CIC collaborated with Proud Watford on a World AIDS Day awareness video, produced with students from West Herts College. Director Clive Duffey, drawing on his professional background with Terrence Higgins Trust, was interviewed to share insights on HIV and sexual health awareness. Through these activities, the CIC contributed to raising awareness, promoting inclusion, and providing visibility for the LGBTQ community in Hertfordshire.
The CIC has maintained informal engagement with LGBTQ community members, allies, and local organisations to ensure its activities reflect local needs. Feedback from Hertfordshire Pride Society committee members (who are also directors of the CIC), together with informal input from community contacts, has shaped continuing work. The World AIDS Day project also provided a platform for community voices and demonstrated strong collaboration between voluntary groups and education providers.
