Company activities and impact

The Resilience Web has continued to provide the software to create a visual online directory of place based community organisations concerned with sustainability and social justice. This year, we have increased the number of webs, so we now service more geographic areas. These webs have been created by or in collaboration with the local community and are adapted to serve each local community’s unique needs. The webs provide a way to easily find organisations that are concerned with environmental and social justice and for volunteers to connect with these organisations.

Consultation with stakeholders

Our stakeholders are people who are interested in finding community groups in their area, or who are interested in creating their own webs. We hold an online assembly every month that is advertised widely and open to anyone to discuss any aspect of the Resilience Web. As a result of these meetings, we have made many changes to the software platform to improve the workflow of web maintainers, and to implement a smoother experience for the public to directly suggest changes to webs.
