COMMUNITY INTEREST ANNUAL REPORT

EZEKIEL KING CIC

Company Number: 12763045 (England and Wales)

Year Ending: 31 July 2024

Company activities and impact

Ezekiel King CIC has actively contributed to the community over the last financial year through various impactful initiatives aimed at supporting young people and marginalized groups. Our projects have primarily focused on providing essential services and opportunities for development, particularly during school holidays. During these periods, we have organized numerous programs offering free nutritious meals and engaging activities for children aged 5 to 15. These programs were designed to alleviate the strain on families who may struggle to provide consistent meals outside of school term times, ensuring that children had access to healthy food. Additionally, our activities, including both recreational and physical pursuits, helped promote overall well-being and fostered a sense of community among the young participants. By offering structured, fun, and educational activities, we aimed to keep children engaged and physically active, thus contributing positively to their mental and physical health. Furthermore, Ezekiel King CIC has been dedicated to crime prevention through mentoring and specialized support in deprived areas across England. Our mentoring programs were tailored to address the unique challenges faced by young people in these communities, providing them with positive role models and guidance. Through these initiatives, we aimed to reduce the risk of youth involvement in criminal activities by promoting positive behaviour, enhancing self-esteem, and offering alternative pathways for personal growth and development. In addition to direct mentorship, we provided specialist support to address specific needs within marginalized communities. This included workshops, counselling sessions, and collaborative projects with local organizations to enhance community safety and cohesion. Our holistic approach ensured that support was not only reactive but also preventative, aiming to build stronger, more resilient communities. In summary, Ezekiel King CIC’s activities over the last financial year have significantly benefited the community by providing essential services and support to young people and marginalized groups, fostering a safer, healthier, and more inclusive environment for all.
