The company runs workshops and Masterclasses that has given the people of the local community the chance to hone their skills, gain valuable information and practice the craft of Film and TV acting. The company, although open for everyone, has had a priority for the following:- - lower income areas - By having a focus on certain areas of the city that have lesser opportunities, the company was able to allow those with less finances the chance to take part and gain experience that they otherwise would not be able to. - During the financial year in question we held: 1. One Masterclass specialising in acting to camera skills and techniques. 2. A showreel shoot that gave film set experience as well as setting up the participants with a body of work to help in their career portfolio. As a result the company has provided access to the above experiences that would not have been possible otherwise.
The company has received, during this year, one contribution of funding to the amount of £2700. Which has assisted CCCAP to facilitate the masterclasses and showreel days. The contribution/funding was from the Cumberland Council and was as a result of our application form sent in prior. In the run up to the application we assessed all of the financial needs and made a full plan of the entire journey, including: Promotion, location rental, equipment hire, staffing costs and post production. The company created multiple promotion days in various locations of the city, with a specific focus on those who may not have had the opportunity, ie, lower income areas and disability. The company also held up a strict focus on gender, age and sexual orientation equality. The initial funding application was for a slightly higher amount, that was rejected. The company and the stakeholder agreed on the final amount of a lower number (stated above)
The total amount paid or receivable by directors in respect of qualifying services was £1490.50 All other outgoings were for external fees ie: location charges, equipment and company hire and expenses etc
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
