During this financial year, That Purple Place CIC has provided inclusive wellbeing activities for people across Anglesey. Our aim has been to tackle loneliness, improve mental health, and create safe, welcoming spaces where people can connect and build resilience. We delivered creative workshops, peer support groups, community events and regular drop ins. These sessions supported people experiencing grief, trauma and poor mental health, as well as those who are neurodivergent, disabled or on low incomes. In total, more than [insert number] individuals took part in our activities. Feedback shows that the majority felt less lonely, more confident and more positive after attending. For many, this was the only space where they felt understood and supported. Overall, That Purple Place CIC has provided a vital community lifeline, reducing isolation and improving wellbeing for people who may otherwise have had nowhere to turn.
Yes. We consult regularly with our community through feedback forms, informal conversations, and group discussions at sessions. Participants are encouraged to share ideas for new activities and improvements. Their feedback has shaped our programme, for example adding quieter sessions for neurodivergent members and offering more creative workshops in response to demand. We also speak with partner organisations and local networks to ensure our work complements other services. This ongoing consultation ensures That Purple Place CIC continues to reflect the needs of the people it serves.
