MB Community CIC delivers a range of free and low-cost services for young people and families across Enfield, Haringey, Waltham Forest, and neighbouring boroughs. Since our establishment in August 2024, our activities during the financial year have benefited the community in the following ways: Children and young people (particularly those from low-income households) have been able to access free weekly football, fitness, and wellbeing sessions in local parks and community spaces, removing barriers to participation in sport and healthy living. Families have benefited from free community events, such as fun days, cultural celebrations, and wellbeing activities, which have brought residents together, reduced social isolation, and strengthened community cohesion. We have reduced financial barriers for parents by offering free activities that would otherwise be unaffordable, and by signposting families to local services and support networks. MB Community CIC has created paid opportunities for local coaches, youth workers, and event staff, while also upskilling volunteers and parents to take on support roles within sessions. Local schools, housing associations, and community groups have been able to partner with us to deliver activities and projects, helping to extend the reach of their own services and ensuring more residents benefit. More than 100 young people and families have engaged with our programmes during the year, reporting improvements in physical activity levels, confidence, and social connection.
