The Trust focuses on community engagement and the development of rugby league at all levels in Oldham. It has seen significant growth and participation in rugby activities, particularly with the creation of six pathway teams and the expansion of women's rugby league. This has also strengthened the connection between the community game and the Trust. The Trust is currently developing a strategy based on the needs of Oldham and Greater Manchester communities. The plan will address key challenges in the area by using rugby league to inspire and engage people. The organisation's income generation strategies are designed to ensure its sustainability, allowing it to maximise the community impact of the projects it delivers.
The Trust's relationship with key stakeholders continues to improve and it is exploring new collaborative approaches through ongoing engagement. These partnerships are expected to have a positive impact on local communities throughout the borough.
