The Breech Birth Network is a Community Interest Company (CIC), meaning all profits made go back into the community and the work of the company. This money helps to fund research, further training, and attendance at conferences. Thank you to all those who have contributed to the Breech Birth Network, CIC, by paying to attend training days over the last year. Without your contributions we would not be able to fund these activities. In 2024 we facilitated a total of eight complete physiological breech workshops. This brought physiological breech teaching to approximately 400 health professionals. This includes obstetricians, junior doctors, midwives, paramedics and students. Over 3000 online learners also access our training materials through the OptiBreech Academy. We also provided free access to our online courses to charities we support in the developing world.
Feedback is regularly requested from those attending training events. Outcomes from this consultation are incorporated into training. The organisation also supports the OptiBreech Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement group, which advises breech researchers on service user views on proposed research projects.
The total amount payable to directors in the year totalled £15,054
No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
