  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Turnover policy

    Turnover comprises the invoiced value of goods and services supplied by the company, net of Value Added Tax and trade discounts.

    Other accounting policies

    Taxation represents the sum of tax currently payable and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the statement of income, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in capital and reserves. The company’s liability for current tax is calculated using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted at the reporting date. Current and deferred tax assets and liabilities are not discounted

Company activities and impact

Getawayngetsafe cic was set up to deliver an educational program across schools in the UK. Working in partnership with Police forces and local authorities our cognitive behavioural program aims to educate the next generation and create safer communities by reducing crime , anti social behaviour, gangs and organised crime.

Consultation with stakeholders

GetAwayNGetSafe CIC is in regular contact with local Police forces , schools and local authorities in order to review the service we offer and to amend our intervention to meet with their needs and to comply with their community safety partnership objectives
