In the financial year 2024, Redditch Loves focused on delivering impactful programmes that enhance the wellness of residents living in Redditch by celebrating our diverse population and cultures, being inspiring community role models, celebrating all forms of arts, contributing to a cleaner, safer, and healthier environment, and supporting local community groups. Our key activities included: 1. Multicultural Event: We successfully organized a vibrant multicultural event that brought together over 200 attendees from diverse backgrounds. The event celebrated the rich cultural tapestry of Redditch through food, music, and performances. This gathering not only promoted community cohesion but also provided a platform for local artists and performers to showcase their talents. Feedback from participants indicated that 90% of attendees felt more connected to their community after participating, highlighting the event's role in fostering inclusivity and understanding among residents. 2. Family Community Allotment: We established a community allotment that serves as both a garden and an educational resource. Over the past year, community members have engaged in hands-on gardening activities. In the future, we will be offering it out to more of our community. 3. Redditch in Bloom: As part of our commitment to getting our community to feel proud of their town, we delivered the Redditch in Bloom initiative. We plan to build on this more next year and get the word out more. Overall, our activities this financial year have contributed to a happier, more together community by promoting cultural exchange through events. By being positive role models, we have inspired others to join us and help with our projects. We have made significant strides toward our mission of creating lasting benefits for all residents, but there is more room to develop. We are currently working on our Christmas Market and have more to deliver next year
At Redditch Loves C.I.C, we believe that effective consultation with our stakeholders is essential for ensuring our programs meet the needs of the community. Throughout the financial year 2024, we engaged with a variety of stakeholders, including residents, community groups, and participants in our programs, through the following methods: Feedback: We regularly gather feedback from participants during and after events to understand their experiences. For example, at our multicultural event, we received responses from over 60 attendees, with 90% indicating they felt the event was beneficial in promoting cultural awareness and community connection. This feedback has been instrumental in shaping future events. Partnerships with Local Organizations: Our collaborations with local groups, such as Inspire, Public Health, and local schools, allowed us to tap into their knowledge and networks. Through these partnerships, we conducted joint outreach efforts to better understand community needs, promote our programs, and identify areas where our initiatives could support their members or where we could support the groups. By actively engaging with our stakeholders through these methods, Redditch Loves C.I.C has been able to adapt our programs to better serve the needs of the community. This ongoing dialogue ensures that we remain aligned with our mission to enhance the lives of the Redditch community, bring everyone together, and be positive community role models.
