| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Going Concern |
| In preparing these financial statements the directors have assessed the ability of the company to continue to operate for a period of at least twelve months from the date of signing the financial statements. |
| The company facilitate mass participation fitness events and the sale of related products on behalf of the parent company through a series of intra-group arrangements. Consequently, the company relies on its parent company to continue operating through the going concern assessment period. |
| The entity's financial statements continue to be prepared using the going concern basis following confirmation of support from its parent company on behalf of the wider group, upon which the company is operationally and financially dependant and accordingly they adopt the going concern basis in preparing these financial statements. |
| Turnover |
| Revenue is recognised to the extent that is is probable that the economic benefits will flow to the Company and the revenue can be reliably measured. Revenue is measured as the fair value of the consideration received or receivable, excluding discounts, rebates, value added tax and other sales taxes. The following criteria must also be met before revenue is recognised: |
| Rendering of services |
| Revenue from an event is recognised in the period in which the event takes place. Any income received for events taking place in future periods is deferred until the correct period arises. |

| The entity recognises revenue on an event by event basis and all revenue received from participants, donations and sponsorships for a specific event are deferred until the time the event has taken place. |
| Taxation |
| Taxation for the period comprises current and deferred tax. Tax is recognised in the Income Statement, except to the extent that it relates to items recognised in other comprehensive income or directly in equity. |
| Current or deferred taxation assets and liabilities are not discounted. |
| Current tax is recognised at the amount of tax payable using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the balance sheet date. |

| Deferred tax |
| Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences that have originated but not reversed at the balance sheet date. |
| Timing differences arise from the inclusion of income and expenses in tax assessments in periods different from those in which they are recognised in financial statements. Deferred tax is measured using tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the period end and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference. |
| Unrelieved tax losses and other deferred tax assets are recognised only to the extent that it is probable that they will be recovered against the reversal of deferred tax liabilities or other future taxable profits. |
