Going concern |
The directors have adopted the going concern basis when preparing the financial statements after assessing the principal risks and uncertainties including the losses made in the current year and the current and forecasted cash situation. The business has made a substantial loss in the year and has had to rely on members and its parent company, The West End Golf Club (Halifax) Limited, to provide loans to ensure that the company has sufficient cash reserves to pay its liabilities as they fall due.
The company has received an unlimited guarantee from The West End Golf Club (Halifax) Limited in respect of its liabilities. Subsequent to the year end, the company has received a significant donation from The West End Golf Club (Halifax) Limited. Therefore the directors believe that the company will have adequate resources to continue in operation for at least 12 months from the signing date of these financial statements.
