Notes to the accounts

1. Average number of employees

   During the year the average number of employees was 0 (2023: 0).

2. Financial Commitments Note

   Subsequent to the accounting year end, the company and the publisher of a commissioned work agreed to terminate the related contract. At the balance sheet date, the company held a liability for deferred income of £49,547.93 representing an advance received under this contract. Under the terms of the cancellation, the publisher has waived its right to repayment of the advance, except in the event that the work is sold to a third party. Because this event reflects a condition that arose after the balance sheet date, it is a non-adjusting event. The financial statements have not been adjusted. The deferred income liability of £49,547.93 will be released and recognised as income in the financial year ending 15 September 2025. A contingent liability relating to the potential future repayment will be recognised in that period.
