The club’s main activities included: - Running regular training sessions and competitive fixtures for age groups ranging from under 6s to Under 15s. - Delivering inclusive football opportunities, open to all regardless of ability, background, or gender. - Supporting the development of young players by building confidence, teamwork, discipline, and respect through sport. - Promoting physical health and wellbeing by encouraging regular participation in active recreation. - Free football coaching sessions for children just starting out their football journey to build the love of the game. The club also delivered wider benefits to the community by: - Offering volunteering opportunities for parents and supporters in coaching, refereeing, and club administration roles. - Creating a safe, positive environment for children and young people to engage in sport outside of school. - Strengthening community connections by bringing together families and supporters from across Ormskirk and the surrounding area. Overall, the club has provided a valuable outlet for children and young people, promoting healthy lifestyles and positive personal development while contributing to the social fabric of the local community.
