The Farmstead Adventure Hub is dedicated to providing inclusive, nature-based experiences that bring people of all ages and abilities closer to the outdoors. Throughout the financial year, the Hub has delivered a wide range of activities designed to promote wellbeing, resilience, and community connection. From structured outdoor adventures for children, to tailored sessions for veterans, men’s groups, and other community organisations, the Hub has consistently worked to ensure that everyone has access to the benefits of time spent in nature. By creating a safe, supportive environment, the Farmstead Adventure Hub has offered children from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to build confidence, develop new skills, and foster a lifelong appreciation for the natural world. For veterans and adult community groups, activities have focused on improving mental health, reducing isolation, and encouraging peer support through shared outdoor challenges and experiences. The Hub’s commitment to inclusivity has had a measurable impact on the local community, with feedback highlighting improvements in wellbeing, social connection, and personal growth among participants. By combining outdoor learning with a strong sense of community purpose, the Farmstead Adventure Hub continues to serve as a vital resource that enriches lives and strengthens community ties.
The Farmstead Adventure Hub recognises the importance of engaging with its stakeholders to ensure that its activities remain responsive, inclusive, and impactful. Key stakeholders during the financial year have included our delivery team, grant providers, and local organisations with shared interests in community wellbeing and outdoor engagement. Consultation has taken place through regular meetings, progress reviews, and collaborative discussions. The delivery team has provided ongoing feedback on programme design and delivery, ensuring that activities are both safe and accessible to all participants. Grant providers have been consulted through monitoring reports and evaluation updates, allowing us to demonstrate impact while also adapting to their guidance on best practice. Local organisations have shared insights on community needs and opportunities for partnership, helping shape activities that complement and strengthen existing provision. In response, the Hub has refined its programmes, enhanced accessibility, and expanded collaborations to maximise community benefit.
