We have joined the communities of Ferndown, Dorset, UK and Sokal, Lviv Oblast Ukraine by Twinning the two towns at council level, we are promoting culture, education and sports. The local community have got together and raised funds in many ways, pub crawls, raffles, donations etc. We have held part nights and given speeches that have been well attended in Ferndown and via Zoom to Ukraine. We continue to send food, medicines and disability equipment to the misplaced people of Ukraine. This has brought our community together in 1 common cause. We are also holding a picnic in the park, in Ferndown, for the locals, the Ukrainian refugees in the area and the local Polish community who work with us to provide much needed aid across the borders. These events bring the communities together of various cultures and benefit all.
The 3 directors play an active part in receiving donations, cash or physical and assist with the onward delivery of Aid.
