The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

Compliance with accounting standards

The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets.
Presentation currency
The accounts are presented in £ sterling.
Tangible fixed assets and depreciation

Kitchen8 Group Limited is the immediate parent of Kitchen8 Limited. The loan is interest-free and repayable on demand. As at 31 December 2024, £184,847 (2023: £148,245) was owed by Nourish Global Ltd, a company incorporated in England with registration number 14843542. Nourish Global Ltd is the ultimate controlling party of Kitchen8 Limited. The loan is interest-free and repayable on demand. As at 31 December 2024, £1,818 (2023: £1,818) was due to Nourish Global Norway AS, a company incorporated in Norway with registration number 932417359. Nourish Global Norway AS is within the same group as Kitchen8 Limited. The loan is interest free and repayable on demand.
