Principal activities of the company

we’ve proudly brought our community together through a series of vibrant and memorable events. A Duck Race in the village river. Groove on the Grass, a one-day music festival. Oktoberfest at the village hall. The installation of Christmas tree and lights in the village square. Our group is entirely made up of volunteers, who give up their time spare to organise the above events without any financial reward. The surplus cash we make from hosting our event allows us to make donations to local charities or good causes.

Company activities and impact

Over the past financial year, we’ve proudly brought our community together through a series of vibrant and memorable events. A lively Duck Race in the village river, full of fun and friendly competition Groove on the Grass, a one-day music festival held at the local school, celebrating local talent and togetherness. A festive Oktoberfest at the village hall, featuring great food, drinks, and entertainment. The installation of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree and lights in the village square, adding sparkle to the holiday season. Throughout these events, we partnered with local food and beverage businesses to provide catering,supporting our local economy and showcasing the best of what our village has to offer. In addition to our events, we’ve made lasting contributions to our shared spaces. Donated materials to build shelving units in the village hall store room Supplied and installed new beer pumps and a chiller unit, enhancing the hall’s hospitality facilities.

Consultation with stakeholders

Stakeholder Engagement Summary Collaborating with Local Businesses Over the past twelve months we have been working closely with a number of food and beverage suppliers for our events catering, notably the Groove on the Grass music festival and Octoberwest. We have also been working with our local cafe and village stores who have been kindly supporting our events and selling tickets. Local businesses have also supported our events in exchange for advertising. Inclusive Community Events Events like the Duck Race, Groove on the Grass, Oktoberfest, and the Christmas tree installation have created opportunities for residents, families, and local groups to participate, volunteer, and connect and strengthen community ties. Supporting Shared Spaces Ticket sales from our events have allowed us to donate to the local community including, but not limited too improvements to the village hall such as shelving, new beer pumps and chillers. Using Local Venues We have used local venues to host our events notably the school and village hall. Informal Feedback and Visibility Through attendance, conversations, and community presence at our events we gather feedback with the aim of continually improving future events for our community. These interactions are a vital form of engagement, even if they aren’t formally documented.
