2.	ACCOUNTING POLICIES

Basis of preparing the financial statements

These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" including the provisions of Section 1A "Small Entities" and the Companies Act 2006. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

The financial statements are prepared in euros, which is the functional currency of the group. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest €. The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention. The principal accounting policies adopted are set out below.

Profit and loss account

The company has not traded during the year or the preceding financial period . During this time the company received no income and incurred no expenditure and therefore no Profit and loss account is presented in these financial statements.

8.	RELATED PARTY DISCLOSURES

At the year end an amount of €217,635 (2023: €217,635) was due from related parties. This balance was unsecured, interest free and repayable on demand.

9.	OTHER RESERVES

The reserve of €11,927 (2023: €11927) represents the surplus arising from the absorption of the book values of the assets and liabilities of Double 'O' Engineering Co. on 1 October 1983.

10.	PARENT COMPANY

Following the acquisition of the whole of the issued share capital on 29 November 1996, the company became a wholly owned subsidiary of Neoperl U.K. Limited, which in turn is a wholly owned subsidiary of Neoperl Group AG, a company incorporated in Switzerland.

The most senior parent entity producing financial statements is Neoperl Group AG of Pfeffingstrasse 21CH-4153, Reinach, Switzerland.
