2	Accounting policies

Statement of compliance

These financial statements were prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland'.

Basis of preparation

These financial statements are prepared on the going concern basis, under the historical cost convention, and in accordance with the Companies Act 2006 and applicable accounting standards in the United Kingdom.

Trading Status
The Company has not traded during the year or the previous year, has incurred no liabilities and consequently, has made neither profit or loss. None of the Directors received any emoluments in respect of their services to the Company.

Investments in subsidiaries
The Company holds investments in other companies. These are recognised as fixed asset investments and are stated at historical cost less provision for any dimunition in value.
