Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 December 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit & loss account.

5. Creditors: amounts falling due after more than one year note

Creditors more than one year include secured bank loans of £2442401 (31 May 2024 £14846) repayable in more than 5 years by instalment. Secured liabilities Bank loans and overdrafts totalling £2746205 (31 May 2024 £117286) are secured by fixed and floating charges over the company assets, and by a cross guarantee debenture provided by all companies in the group

6. Financial commitments

The Company is a party to a group cross guarantee debenture to include the former holding company Henlle Holdings Limited and the new holding company Cosmo Lloyd Limited. These guarantees represent contingent liabilities which at 31 December 2024 amounted to £221396 (31 May 2024 £2090274).
