During the year, it was identified that the company had not depreciated its investment property in prior periods, contrary to the accounting policy adopted under FRS 105. This represents a material error in the financial statements of previous years.

As a result, a prior year adjustment has been made to correct this error. The depreciation charge of £161,987 relating to prior periods has been recognised in the accounts by restating the opening balance of retained earnings as at 1 December 2022.
