EUROPEAN DROM CIC IN THIS FINANCIAL YEAR HAS SIGNIFICANTLY BENEFITED THE COMMUNITY BY FOSTERING SOCIAL INCLUSION AND EMPOWERMENT PARTICULARLY FOR ROMA COMMUNITIES IN BRADFORD. ORGANISATION FOCUSED ON ADVOCACY, POLICY INFLUENCE, PUBLIC CAMPAIGNS, AND CREATE SPACES FOR NETWORKING AND MUTUAL LEARNING WHICH AIMS TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND CIVIC PARTICIPATION OF ROMA PEOPLE.

Consultation with stakeholders

WE WORKED WITH RACE EQUALITY NETWORK TO TRAINED COMMUNITY HEALTH CHAMPIONS - WE PROMOTE HEALTH INCREASED AWARENESS OF MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES AND INCREASED PREVENTION - SUPPORTED COMMUNITY TO TAKE ANY SCREENING WHICH IS OFFERED TO THEM. WE WORKED WITH STAYING PUT ORGANISATION TO INCREASE AWARENESS ABOUT DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SPECIALLY - EMOTIONAL ABUSE WE WORKED WITH GIRLINGTON CENTRE, WILFRID CENTRE, KALA SANGAM THEATRE THE LEAP BRADFORD - TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF ROMA HERITAGE, AND PROMOTE ROMA CULTURE WE HAD SEVERAL EVENTS WITH ELDERLY ROMA PEOPLE ACCROS THE BRADFORD DISTRICT TO INCREASE AWARENESS OF AVAILABLE SERVICES IN BRADFORD FOR OLD PEOPLE
