Research carried out to date has benefited beekeepers, farmers, and land owners by providing information and guidance on how to detect and control the statutory notifiable pest Tropilaelaps spp. This research has also informed UK and international governments emergency constringency response strategies for the statutory notifiable pest Tropilaelaps spp.
