The accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the special provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

1	Accounting policies

	Basis of preparation
	The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (as applied to small entities by section 1A of the standard).


	Prior period adjustment
	In the financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2022, an amount of £158,549.35 relating to loan interest was incorrectly recognised as income of the company. These amounts represented interest payable to the lender and should not have been reported as revenue. The error has been corrected by adjusting the opening balance of retained earnings as at 1 January 2023. Comparative figures for the year ended 31 December 2023 have been restated accordingly. The impact of the adjustment is as follows: • Decrease in retained earnings brought forward: £158,549.35 • Decrease in previously reported income: £158,549.35 • Increase in interest expense: £158,549.35 Corporation tax was not affected.
