Statutory information
AJM Property Letting Limited is a private company, limited by shares, domiciled in England and Wales, company number 10138991. The registered office is at 57 City Road, Sheffield, S2 5HE.
Summary of significant accounting policies and key accounting estimates
The principal accounting policies applied in the preparation of these financial statements are set out below. These policies have been consistently applied to all the years presented, unless otherwise stated.
Statement of compliance
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with Financial Reporting Standard 102 Section 1A - 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland' and the Companies Act 2006.
Basis of preparation
These financial statements have been prepared using the historical cost convention except that as disclosed in the accounting policies certain items are shown at fair value. The presentation currency is United Kingdom pounds sterling, which is the functional currency of the company. The financial statements are those of an individual entity.
Going concern
After due consideration of all relevant factors, the directors have a reasonable expectation that the company has adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. Accordingly, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the annual report and accounts.
Revenue recognition
Turnover comprises the fair value of the consideration received or receivable for the rental of the company's investment properties. Revenue is recognised on a straight line basis over the lease terms.
Tax
The tax expense for the period comprises current tax. Tax is recognised in profit or loss, except that a change attributable to an item of income or expense recognised as other comprehensive income is also recognised directly in other comprehensive income.
The current income tax charge is calculated on the basis of tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the reporting date in the countries where the company operates and generates taxable income.
Deferred tax is recognised in respect of all timing differences between taxable profits and profits reported in the financial statements.
Deferred tax is measured using the tax rates and laws that have been enacted or substantively enacted by the reporting date and that are expected to apply to the reversal of the timing difference.

Tangible assets
Tangible assets are stated in the balance sheet at cost, less any subsequent accumulated depreciation and subsequent accumulated impairment losses.
The cost of tangible assets includes directly attributable incremental costs incurred in their acquisition and installation.

Related party transactions |
During previous years the company has provided interest free loans to Jutrad Limited, a company in which the directors, A C Manfredi and J D Manfredi are directors and shareholders. The amount due to the company at the balance sheet date was £Nil (2023: £70,000).
During the year the company paid rent of £18,000 (2023: £Nil) and recharged insurance and utilities cost of £3,411 (2023: £1,263) to New Comp Limited, a company in which the directors, A C Manfredi and J D Manfredi are directors. The amount due to the company at the balance sheet date was £39,777 (2023: £54,366).
During the year Mr J D & Mr A C Manfredi, who are both directors of the company, made net loan repayments totalling £3,721 (2023: net advances of £11,231). At the year end date the balance due to the company was £7,510 (2023: £11,231).
