" It has been a hard year for Marbles as a CIC due to lack of funding, this is partly due to the competition out there on applying and the fact that funding regarding mental health is at its lowest! Also it has been almost impossible to find funding for the website as most funding pots are for community projects, not digital support! Therefore I have spent this year looking at how to develop Marbles to become more self reliant on its own funding it can generate. So going forward. I have been working and experimenting with Marble style workshops, which I deliver. I have managed to get a yearly contract with Plymouth Medical School training 1st and 2nd year students on Mental health and the community. I am also still the nominated charity for Kier Bam construction at the Dockyard, who have built a wellbeing hub for me and its staff and are fundraising as much as they can. Podcasts for Marbles are still in the making and a new website, thanks to a kind donation, is starting to happen in October. This website will be more informative, have an array of different platforms of support, more transparent of the work Marbles does and its team. I want Marbles to have more of a social presence online, reaching more people and earning through various social platforms and the work I do myself. The Marbles support group is now in its 5th year and is continuing to flourish.
