Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 December 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

Company activities and impact

Primarily, the provision of Polish Foods for the Local Parish Community in Leeds. The shop is open about 9 hours a week, to coincide with the Day Centre, for our older parishioners, on Saturday for parents of Polish Saturday School pupils, and on Sundays after the religious services. It is situated within the Parish Centre, and benefits parishioners by being in a place where they meet regularly.

Consultation with stakeholders

The stakeholders are our customers, and the Polish Catholic Mission – Leeds. We have consulted our customers with regards product lines etc. Feedback from customers has been positive and the Local Management authority of the Polish Catholic Mission – Leeds is happy with this arrangement.
