The Directors present their annual report and financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2024.
Principal activities
On 2nd May 2023, the company's trade and net assets were sold to Stirling Ackroyd Group Limited and the company ceased trading. Since that date the company has been dormant.

For the financial year ended 31 December 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 480 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to dormant companies.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit of its financial statements for the year in question in accordance with section 476.
The Directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of financial statements.
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

Accounting policies
Company information
Waterfalls Residential Lettings Limited is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England and Wales. The registered office is 3rd Floor, 1 Ashley Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA14 2DT.

Reporting period
The prior accounting period covers the period from 1 May 2023 to 31 December 2023 and therefore comparative figures may not be comparable to the current year.

Basis of preparation
These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with FRS 102 “The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland” (“FRS 102”) and the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 as applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The disclosure requirements of section 1A of FRS 102 have been applied other than where additional disclosure is required to show a true and fair view.
The financial statements are prepared in sterling, which is the functional currency of the Company. Monetary amounts in these financial statements are rounded to the nearest £.
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention.

On 2nd of May 2023, the trade and net assets of the company were hived up into Stirling Ackroyd Group Limited. The remaining surplus of £18,091 due from Stirling Ackroyd Group Limited was written off during the period ended 31st December 2023.

Controlling party
The Company is a subsidiary of Stirling Ackroyd Group Limited, which is registered at Unit 2 Wintersells Road, Byfleet, West Byfleet, Surrey, KT14 7LF. At 31 December 2024, the Company's ultimate parent company was Hadrian Holding Limited, which is registered at 280 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 4AG.
Hadrian Holding Limited is the smallest and largest group in which the results of the Company are consolidated. The consolidated financial statements, which include the results of this Company, are available to the public and may be obtained from Companies House.
At 31 December 2024, the ultimate controlling party of Waterfalls Residential Lettings Limited is Platinum Equity Small Cap Fund International (Cayman), L.P.
