The directors are satisfied that the company is entitled to exemption from the requirement to obtain an audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006.
The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Act.
The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Companies Act 2006 with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.
The accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the special provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime. The profit and loss account has not been delivered to the Registrar of Companies.

1 Accounting policies
Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention and in accordance with FRS 102, The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland.
Income
The company acts as a trustee of a statutory trust in respect of service charges collected for the maintenance of properties at Blackmore Court, Melksham. The company is responsible for the management of Blackmore Court, Melksham and collects these charges from the lessees in order to cover the costs incurred.
Any excess charges are held in trust for the lessees as required by Section 42 of the Landlord & Tenant Act 1987, and reported separately in the notes to these accounts. These are held to fund future financial obligations in the management of Blackmore Court, Melksham and will be treated as company income when that expenditure takes place.
Debtors
Short term debtors are measured at transaction price which is usually the invoice price, less any impairment losses for bad and doubtful debts.
Creditors
Short term creditors are measured at transaction price which is usually the invoice price.
Taxation
A current tax liability is recognised for the tax payable on the taxable profit of the current and past periods.

5 Contingent liabilities
A contingent liability exists in respect of ground rents due to the freeholder which have not been demanded or paid. It is not possible to quantify the amount of this contingency, but it should not exceed £9,556 (2023: £9,333).
6 Related party transactions
A Statutory trust is imposed over service charge monies received under section 42 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1987. The company acts as a trustee in this capacity.
At the year end the company was holding its net assets on behalf of the leaseholders.
