For the year ending 28 September 2024 the company was entitled to exemption from audit under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies. The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

Compliance with accounting standards
The accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of FRS 102 Section 1A Small Entities. There were no material departures from that standard.

Accounting policies
The principal accounting policies adopted in the preparation of the financial statements are set out below and have remained unchanged from the previous year, and also have been consistently applied within the same accounts.
Turnover
Turnover represents amounts recoverable from tenants (or from the landlord in respect of any units that are unlet) in respect of service charge expenditure incurred.
Service charge transactions
The accounts include expenditure incurred during the year in accordance with a verbal Estate Management Agreement between the company and Opus Land (Erdington) Limited, the landlord of Opus Aspect, Chester Road, Erdington, Birmingham B24 0QY. Under the terms of the leases of the property, the costs incurred by the company in fulfilling its responsibilities under the Estate Management Agreement are fully recoverable from the tenants of the site (or from the landlord in respect of any units that are unlet).

Transactions with related parties
Omega Park Management Limited manages and maintains the common parts and amenities of, and services, for the estate at Opus Aspect, Chester Road, Erdington, Birmingham B24 0QY. The estate is owned by Opus Land (Erdington) Limited, its parent company until 11 November 2015. The costs incurred by the company in carrying out these services are recoverable from the tenants of the estate, or from the landlord in respect of unlet units. There was no amount owed to or by Opus Land (Erdington) Limited at any time during the year.

Until 11 November 2015 the controlling party was Opus Land (Erdington) Limited and the ultimate controlling party was Palmer Capital Partners Limited. Since 11 November 2015 there has been no controlling or ultimate controlling party.
