Basis of preparation
The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention as modified by the revaluation of certain fixed assets.

Transactions with related parties
During the reporting period, Lilly Facilities Management Ltd provided a series of loans to Sure-Thing Property Investments Ltd and Sure-Thing Property LLP, entities under common control. Paul Collis-Smith and Nicola Collis-Smith are directors of both Lilly Facilities Management Ltd and Sure-Thing Property Investments Ltd, and are also partners in Sure-Thing Property LLP. The loans, which are unsecured, carry an interest rate of 4% per annum and are repayable over a period of six years. There is no specific repayment schedule, and no guarantees or collateral were provided as security for these loans.
