During the last year, Clean Jurassic Coast CIC have continued to remove marine debris from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. The team of volunteers have removed in excess of 4000kg, recycling as much as possible in UK marine plastic recycling schemes. The team have also attended events to highlight and raise awareness about the use of plastic, especially single use. The team have also engaged with local schools and youth groups and worked with them to clear the local beaches of debris and litter. Our activities help ensure the local beaches, and surrounding coastline, are clean and safe for visitors to enjoy.
