Principal activities of the company

General description of the companys activities and impact. Moroccan Voices CIC was founded with the primary mission of fostering cultural awareness and promoting language learning among children born in the UK from immigrant backgrounds. Our efforts are aimed at preserving the language and culture of their parents while instilling valuable life values and skills. Mission Statement. At Moroccan Voices CIC, our mission is to create a nurturing environment for children of immigrant families, helping them learn the language and culture of their parents. We believe that a strong sense of cultural identity and language proficiency can enrich the lives of these children, allowing them to connect with their heritage and embrace the diverse world around them. Educational Initiatives. To achieve our mission, we have undertaken several educational initiatives that have proved to be instrumental in supporting our community. Language and Culture Workshops. We conduct regular sessions and workshops focused on pedagogy, providing valuable tools and techniques to our collaborators, who are parents, teachers, and volunteers. These workshops enable them to effectively engage with the children and facilitate their language and cultural learning experience. Curated Learning Materials. We have invested in a collection of books from Morocco to teach the children at different levels. These books serve as valuable resources for imparting knowledge about their heritage, traditions, and language proficiency. Cultural Events and Celebrations. Throughout the year, we organize various cultural events and gatherings that bring the children together to celebrate the values of both their country of residence and their parents country. These events foster a sense of belonging and inclusivity, promoting cross-cultural understanding. Community Impact. Since our inception, Moroccan Voices CIC has had a profound impact on the community we serve. Language Proficiency: We have observed a noticeable improvement in the language proficiency of the children involved in our programs. Many children have developed language skills that allow them to communicate more effectively with their parents and extended family members. Cultural Awareness: The children have shown a heightened awareness of their cultural heritage, demonstrating pride and interest in their parents traditions and customs. Empowering Collaborators.
