During the financial year, Bute Street Projects CIC delivered activities designed to provide skills development, creative opportunities, and cultural engagement for the local community. The organisation delivered an eight-week Youth Film Programme for participants aged 16–22, offering training in film curation, festival management, presenting, and filming skills. The programme concluded with a public showcase of participant work. In addition, the company commissioned local artists across art, film, and music, supporting the creation of new work within Luton. Bute Street Projects CIC also partnered with local arts organisations to facilitate the presentation of four emerging artists at the BIFA-qualifying Bute Street Festival, thereby creating further professional development and visibility for young creatives. These activities contributed to the development of local talent, supported cultural production in Luton, and strengthened pathways for young people into the creative industries.
