My sister’s cup is an environmentally conscious movement rooted in the African philosophy of Ubuntu. We utilise community philanthropy to address period poverty by providing free access to reusable menstrual products and eco-friendly tampons for Women in Africa, the Caribbean and the diaspora. We also promote awareness about healthy menstrual and Women's health, and management of conditions such as PCOS, endometriosis, PMS and more. Our mission is to create a world where Women have access to menstrual resources regardless of their financial situation or geographic positioning to live their life with freedom. We want our community to have access to necessary knowledge around health so they can live a life unrestricted by gender and fulfil their life by their standards.
Black Women in Africa, the Caribbean and the diaspora who experience poverty or financial difficulties. Stakeholders are Women and bleeding people of African and Caribbean descent who feedback best practise to ensure culturally-specific support.
