Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 December 2024 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

The members have agreed to the preparation of abridged accounts for this accounting period in accordance with Section 444(2A).

These accounts have been prepared in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

The directors have chosen to not file a copy of the company’s profit & loss account.

Meridian Cost Benefit Limited (the Company) is a private company limited by shares, incorporated in the United Kingdom. The registered office is Catherine Suite, 40 London Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 1NG. The principal activity of the Company was that of the provision of vendor recovery services together with complementary accounts payable auditing services until 31 March 2023. The company is now dormant. During the prior year, employees were transferred to Glantus UK Limited as part of the merger.

3. Related party transactions

In the normal course of business in the prior year, the company carried out transactions with other Glantus group companies. These inter-group transactions included recharging costs across the group for marketing, head office costs, and compliance. For the purposes of the disclosure requirements of IAS 24, the term “key management personnel” (i.e. those persons having authority and responsibility for planning, directing and controlling the activities of the company) comprises the Board of Directors which manages the business and affairs of the company. Key management personnel compensation amounted to £Nil (2023: £Nil).
