Company activities and impact

We delivered a broad programme of weekly after-school and holiday clubs including: Summer Adventure Club - Creativity Club - Garden Kitchen Club - Lego & Garden Club - Babies & Tots Nature Play We launched the Growing Space Learning Centre in early 2025, registered officially in May 2025, enabling us to offer accredited Environmental Leadership training through a Level 3 qualification. A new Nature & Bliss apprentice supported branding and social media, working directly with the CIC from April 2025 for three months. We ran a follow-up Sustainable September event with RBKC and local libraries, attracting 250 participants, including a trip to the Plant Library donated by the Serge Hill Project. We also started collaborations with care homes and ADKC to offer inclusive events. We received funding to develop the Learning Centre, with plans to expand community education and leadership opportunities. Growing Space was honoured with the International Montessori Award for Community Learning Initiative of the Year 2025. Nature birthday parties continued to support the garden and foster family ambassadors. We maintained the contract with Nature & Bliss Ltd for garden maintenance and material provision, reducing CIC costs and enabling promotion of activities. We partnered with ChangeX to support replication projects across the UK and Ireland, impacting over 10,000 community members. CSR days with Tilbury Douglas Engineering and funding from FEfunding and BBC TV Licensing continued.

Stakeholder consultation included surveys, feedback at events, social media interactions, and community forums.
