Accounting Policies

Basis of accounting
The financial statements have been prepared under the historical cost convention, as modified by the revaluation of derivative financial assets and liabilities measured at fair value via profit and loss and plan assets from externally funded defined benefit pension schemes recognised at fair value through the Statement of comprehensive income, and in accordance with the Companies Act 2006 and Financial Reporting Standard 101 Reduced Disclosure Framework ("FRS 101").

FRS 101
FRS 101 sets out a reduced disclosure framework for a 'qualifying entity' as defined by Financial Reporting Standard 100 'Application of financial reporting requirements' ("FRS 100") which addresses the financial requirements and disclosure exemptions in the individual financial statements of qualifying entities that otherwise apply the recognition, measurement and disclosure requirements of EU-adopted International Financial Reporting Standards ("IFRS").

Average number of employees during the year was 0 (2023: 0).

Directors' Emoluments

The Directors received no remuneration for their services as directors of the company.

Ultimate parent company and controlling party

The directors consider Doosan Corporation Co., Ltd registered in the Republic of Korea to be the Company’s ultimate parent company.  This is the largest Group of companies for which Group financial statements are drawn up and of which the Company is a member.  The smallest such Group is Doosan Power Systems S.A. which is registered in Luxembourg.

The Company’s immediate parent undertaking is Doosan Enerbility Co., Ltd .

The consolidated financial statements of the Company’s ultimate parent company are available to the public and may be obtained from Euljiro 6-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul, Korea 100-730.
The consolidated financial statements for Doosan Power Systems S.A. are available to the public and may be obtained from Doosan House, Crawley Business Quarter, Manor Royal, Crawley, West Sussex, RH10 9AD, United Kingdom.
