Company activities and impact

Dynamic Wheel (DW) CIC offers various programmes of opportunities for individuals who have faced mental health issues and adversities. The DW Peer Learning Programme collaborates with a local charity to offer a peer learning programme based on the recovery model and the Peer Support Model. Informal peer support sessions and formal peer support opportunities are provided. The DW Events Programme aims to reduce isolation and improve health for the wider DW Community. The DW Events include outdoor Walks, online quizzes, picnics, barbecues, and more. Roots and Shoots provides ongoing chances for individuals to engage in small-scale horticultural activities. We have been working with a larger development that explores a green space site which will offer opportunities for growing, health food education and more.

Consultation with stakeholders

We have ongoing weekly meetings called the Peer Steering Group, which allows DW to consult directly with the wider DW Membership to review DW Programmes and develop new programmes. -We have planned a more formal stakeholders event to allow us to develop more pathways for referrals and working with other community partners.
