Balance sheet statements

For the year ending 31 January 2025 the company was entitled to exemption under section 477 of the Companies Act 2006 relating to small companies.

The members have not required the company to obtain an audit in accordance with section 476 of the Companies Act 2006.

The directors acknowledge their responsibilities for complying with the requirements of the Act with respect to accounting records and the preparation of accounts.

These accounts have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to companies subject to the small companies regime.

  • 1. Accounting policies

    Basis of measurement and preparation

    These financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Section 1A (Small Entities) of Financial Reporting Standard 102

    Tangible fixed assets depreciation policy

    Tangible assets are included at cost less depreciation and impairment. Depreciation has been provided at the following rates in order to write off the assets over the estimated useful lives: Computer Equipment - 3 year straight line

    Intangible fixed assets amortisation policy

    Intangible assets (including purchased goodwill and patents) are included at cost less accumulated amortisation.

Intangible assets comprises a support directory and related intellectual property rights developed by My Pickle CIC. This was legally transfer to National Support Network CIC (NSN) for the sum of £40,000. A flexible repayment schedule is in place.

Company activities and impact

NSN's primary mission is to assist individuals in the UK during times of crisis by connecting them with essential support services. During the financial year, we continued partnering with companies and charities to extend access to our Support Hub directory to their audiences. During the reporting period our services had reached and supported over 65,000 people.

Consultation with stakeholders

The key stakeholders are partner organisations (our clients) who distribute the Support Directory to help people in need – their customers, employees, students or other audiences. Prospective partners and clients continue to be consulted to help inform continual product improvements.

Directors' remuneration

One of the directors in post during the accounting period received salaries in respect of their contribution to the company. The total of all director's remuneration for the period was £39,683.

No transfer of assets other than for full consideration
