	The accounts have been prepared under the historical cost convention.


2	Controlling party

	The immediate holding company is M S Macbeth Limited, another company incorporated in England and Wales. The ultimate holding company is Macbeth Group Holdings Limited, another company incorporated in England and Wales. The ultimate controlling party is P T Macbeth, a director, by virtue of his ownership of the majority of the issued share capital of the ultimate parent company, Macbeth Group Holdings Limited.
