REIGN works to amplify the voices of survivors, challenge stereotypes, and address the systemic structures that allow abuse to persist. Our mission is to transform the ways society, systems, and environments respond to and support those affected by CSE/A, through survivor-led initiatives including training workshops, keynote speeches, consultancy, and youth projects. In the 2024–2025 financial year, REIGN delivered 45 workshops and 7 keynote speeches across the region, secured a major consultancy contract with Manchester Metropolitan University, and obtained key funding from SSE, PHF, and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA). The company was honored with the ‘Most Inspirational Lecture’ award from Huddersfield University. We strengthened our governance by expanding the board, welcomed 11 new clients, recruited 5 freelance team members, and secured significant contracts, including with Staffordshire Safeguarding Partnership to extend our training provision, with the Greater Manchester Combined Authority Safeguarding Peer Review Panel to contribute lived-experience insight alongside partners such as The Children’s Society and Barnardo’s, and with GMP to deliver four workshops. These activities have increased awareness within the community about CSE/A, empowered more survivors to engage with and contribute to the collective, strengthened our income streams, and secured funding for new initiatives in 2025 to further build the organisation. Looking ahead to 2025, we plan to launch a new project working directly with young people aged 16–25, develop workshops that respond to professionals’ evolving needs, and maximise revenue from the sale of our services to support the sustainability and growth of REIGN.
REIGN’s key stakeholders include survivors of CSE/A, young people engaged in our programs, partner organisations such as Staffordshire Local Authority, GMP, Greater Manchester Combined Authority, Huddersfield University, Manchester Metropolitan University, and worked alongside well-recognised child-focused organisations including The Children’s Society and Barnardo’s. These partnerships demonstrate REIGN’s growing recognition as a trusted organisation within the sector. Stakeholders have been consulted through a variety of methods, including our Annual General Meeting, focus groups with survivors, and feedback forms following workshops and events. Feedback received during the year has informed several improvements to our work. We increased the inclusion of survivor stories so that professionals attending our training can hear a broader range of experiences. We launched survivor meet-ups to create spaces for peer support and connection. We also strengthened our governance by bringing new members onto our board to help manage and develop the organisation more effectively. Additionally, consultations have guided the development of our consultancy offer, enabling us to build a more consistent income stream to support our sustainability
