Additional information
At the time of incorporation, the directors personally contributed a total of £30,995 as start-up capital to DiversITy-talent CIC. These funds were used to cover essential legal, Marketing (Brochures, workbooks website, videos, etc ), and compliance costs and to provide early operating cashflow, enabling the organisation to begin delivering on its mission without delay. Since launch, DiversITy-talent CIC has impacted just under 500 children and young adults across primary, secondary, college, and community settings. These programmes have introduced young people to real-world challenges, inclusive leadership principles, and design thinking approaches aimed at building confidence, creativity, and pathways into future employment or education. What began with two directors facilitating sessions has grown into a delivery team of eight skilled facilitators, enabling us to expand our reach and offer consistent, high-quality delivery across a wider range of educational and community partners. We continue to build strong relationships with schools, local authorities, and purpose-aligned organisations who share our commitment to inclusive social impact. The directors remain committed to ensuring that repayment of start-up loans occurs only when annual surpluses permit, and never at the expense of programme delivery or organisational sustainability. This approach reflects our values as a not-for-profit Community Interest Company grounded in transparency, reinvestment, and meaningful impact.
