Company activities and impact for year ending 31st December 2024. The company completed 8 projects over the year. Benefits to people who experience communication exclusion. The company have provided 14 paid, temporary employment opportunities to 14 people who are often excluded from work. They have all been paid the living wage plus expenses. Benefits to customers and staff of the following organisations – EASTBio - consortium of six Scottish Universities Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership Scottish Government NHS Education Scotland Vintage Vibes Edinburgh Social Enterprise Network Social enterprise Scotland The impact we have had includes developing more communication equity in - Post graduate student education Health and social care for people with sight and hearing loss Scottish Government leadership support Health care support, including maternity care, for people with hearing and sight loss Befriending services for older people Community events run by social enterprises Business start-up support
The company co-produce all work with people who communicate in different ways. The company has 12 co-producers who they work with regularly.
Directors pay is detailed in our accounts. The company has paid Directors between £15 / hour in line with living wage policy.
