| Basis of preparing the financial statements |
| Income recognition |
| All income relates to donations received in a not for profit organisation. Income is recognised when the funds are received. Monies received will be used for grants for bereaved parents and /or educational support at the discretion of the directors of the company. |

| Short term debtors are measured at transaction price, less any impairment. |
| Creditors |
| Short term creditors are measured at the transaction price. |
| Related party exemption |
| The company has taken advantage of exemption, under the terms of Financial Reporting Standard 102 'The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland', not to disclose related party transactions with wholly owned subsidiaries within the group. |
| Provisions for liabilities |
| Provisions are recognised when the Company has a present (legal or constructive) obligation as a result of a past event; it is probable that an outflow of resources will be required to settle the obligation; and the amount of the obligation can be estimated reliably. |
