Over the past year, we have facilitated women's groups to support those struggling with mental health and social isolation. Additionally, we organized family activities to encourage outdoor engagement, fostering connections among individuals, their communities, and the environment. At both strategic and delivery levels, we have actively worked within the community to address and reduce health inequalities.
We actively participate in several partnerships and networks, most notably the Barrow Hill Guided Coalition, Appreciative Inquiry, and #ProudToBeBarrowHill. Through these collaborations, we work to reduce health inequalities by serving as a bridge between the community and authorities. We conduct participatory action research to gather insights from the community, which helps inform actions and, in some cases, policy decisions. As a Community Interest Company (CIC), our efforts are dedicated to fostering community well-being and addressing health disparities.
